Jewel gets her name from her bright, beautiful calico coat, and her affectionate personality. She bore two litters of kittens at a horse farm, but after her kittens were fixed and found homes, she decided she would far rather be a pet cat than a mouse hunter, so she is now looking for a loving indoor home!
Jewel is quiet and affectionate. She will follow you throughout your day and be by your side when you work, but she won't be yowling for attention. She enjoys being combed and loves to chase that magical laser-toy dot! She does have a bit of attitude if she is tired of being bothered (check her video out!) so she would do best in a home with no young children. While Jewel tolerates other cats, she would be best as an only cat.
She is truly a Jewel of a cat, and we hope she will soon be the bright spot in your home.
