Grayson is a grand large cat with a gentle personality, but a bit of spunk added. He is about 2.5 years old. He was captured in a feral cat colony but quickly made it known that he preferred the comfort of the indoors. He sports an eartip as a sign of his life on the streets. Grayson is playful, with a beautiful medium length coat and a love of being combed. He had great big paws (but no extra toes). He visits well with strangers, but he needs an owner who would never lose her or his temper with him, because his trust of you would likely be gone. He is a careful but fun cat who survived on streets because he can tell who to trust, and who might be a danger. Grayson is companionable with the other cats here, so he could probably be carefully introduced to a home with another cat or two. The Owl House is a neighbors-helping-neighbors program in rural Spencer NY, assisting low-income and senior residents spay/neuter cats that have been abandoned on their property. Friendly cats and kittens are adopted into homes to reduce the burden on local shelters. We often deliver our cats so adopters must be within at least two hours of Spencer. We sometimes will go farther for a special home so feel free to inquire. Our $50 adoption fee should be made payable to our veterinarian so you know 100% of your contribution goes to future cat rescue.
