If I could talk, I'd tell these kind people how I came to be abandoned here at the woods near the Owl House. I arrived a little thin, with a thick coat, as if I'd been kicked outside at my old home before I was finally dumped out alongside the road. I'm sweet, very affectionate, downright playful, and quite talkativeonce I in my life I clearly had a best human friend who I spent lots of time with. Most of my teeth were missing when I arrived, so the vet took all the rest out. I still chow down on dry food (although I love the fancy wet stuff) and treats. At least you won't have to worry by dental bills in my future! I can't tell anyone how old I am or where I grew up, or who once loved me. I can only tell you how happy I am to be safe and warm again. What I really want is another special person to call my very own. Whenever anyone comes to visit, I slip up on their lap, cuddle in, and purr, purr, purr. My adoption donation will be waived for anyone over 55 who would like me as their friend. (Yes, I know 55 isn't really "senior" but it's peace, love, and maturity I'm looking for). A home with kids would still make me happy as well, as long as they love to hold and pet me. By the way, The Owl House will always take their cats back! So feel free even to just foster me for a few weeks, to see if we are a perfect match.
